WINNER!
True Net Zero Carbon Challenge

A well deserved win to you and the team!

I want to especially praise the PHPP consultant and NatHERS rater

who did so many iterative variations - that's a TRULY HUGE effort right there!

(WINNER OF STAGE CATEGORY: QLD)

Here's what the judges said:

"At a modest 120m2 the Pot of Gold house seeks to provide a model that can work in all capital cities with various material combinations and price points. The Brisbane Pot of Gold ranges from 7.5 to 10 stars depending on material options, and also passes PHPP rating. The low embodied carbon version is a timber subfloor option that gives flexibility to sites that aren’t always flat and shows that True Zero does not need to come with a slab. And the integrated Heat Recovery Ventilation system ensures a healthy internal environment.

With compact form factor and space-efficient floor plan there is plenty of space for owners to enjoy their backyard or its views from the living.

This prototype shows housing equity can be a reality across Australia.

Let’s hope this fairytale comes true! "
